Sound
I can't hear the audio
First check that your device isn't on silent and that the volume isn't turned off. Click the gear at the bottom right of the card to adjust the audio volume. If an audio file can't be downloaded, your browser's built-in voice reads the word instead, so the voice may sound different.
I want a different voice
Click the gear at the bottom right of the card and choose one of the four voices, two female and two male, under Voice.
I want words read aloud when I flip a card
Turn on Play audio when flipped in the same gear menu.
Word pages and lists
Meanings look blurred on word pages
They're hidden so you don't see the answer first. Click a blurred line to reveal just that one, or flip the card to reveal everything. Turn it back to the front and they're hidden again.
What are the brackets [ ] next to a word?
They show the actual pronunciation of words that aren't read the way they're spelled, as in 학교 [학꾜]. When the pronunciation matches the spelling, nothing is shown. When a word has two pronunciations, they're separated by “/”.
I want to put a list back in its original order
Click Reset order above the list. A shuffled order disappears when you close that tab.
I want to search by a conjugated form
Just type it into the search box as is, like 들었어요 or 학교에서. Conjugated forms and forms with particles attached still find the original word, and the spacing doesn't have to match. Type something like “TOPIK 1 Day 3” to jump straight to that Day.
Study history
My temperatures don't show up on another device
Your history stays only in the browser where you graded the cards and doesn't sync with other devices. With no accounts, there's nothing to connect the two.
I want to start over
Clear this site's data (cookies and site data) in your browser settings to erase all your history. This can't be undone.
Where do I sign in?
There are no accounts. No sign-up and no login; just start using it. See the Privacy Policy for details.

A meaning or pronunciation looks wrong
Let us know and we'll check and fix it. Please email us the word and which level and Day you saw it in.
The screen colors are hard on my eyes
Each click of the theme button at the top right cycles through System, Light, and Dark.
Is there an app?
We're working on it. When it's out, the App Store and Google Play buttons at the top of this site will become active.
